Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure, scalable, cloud-native software solutions.
- Build microservices-based applications and domain-modeled business products.
- Write, review, debug, and maintain high-quality production code.
- Improve operational stability by automating or eliminating recurring remediation issues.
- Design reliable architectures that support zero-downtime releases and optimized data performance.
- Use, validate, and refine enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Guide peers on responsible and secure use of AI-assisted engineering tools.
- Lead communities of practice and share modern engineering technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational support.
- Proficiency with backend technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js.
- Experience building microservices-based applications and scalable applications with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, distributed systems, web technologies, WebSockets, JSON, and web services.
- Ability to independently solve design and functionality challenges with minimal supervision.
- Understanding of application resiliency, software development life cycle practices, and agile development methods.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, and engineering security and resiliency expectations.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, mentoring, stakeholder management, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes banking domain knowledge and AWS certification.
