Responsibilities
- Build features using cloud technologies and engage with Google Cloud Platform infrastructure teams.
- Apply knowledge of cloud file systems, networking, Google Cloud Platform, and enterprise ecosystems.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to evaluate technology choices.
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing impacts on hardware, networks, service operations, and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- At least 3 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- Preferred experience includes C++, C, or Go; large-scale distributed systems; concurrency; multithreading; and synchronization.
- Preferred qualifications include 5 years of experience with software development, design and architecture, and testing or launching software products.
