Base Salary
$94k - $179k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write high-quality code for complex scenarios with strong test coverage.
- Translate product requirements into modular, reusable, scalable, secure, compliant, and maintainable distributed application designs.
- Lead design and code reviews across multiple applications.
- Lead sprint teams in delivering new or improved features and resolving delivery impediments.
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to deliver intended functionality.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Drive technical strategy and vision for the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 5 years of software programming experience, including at least 2 years with technologies used at Mercury.
- More than 1 year of experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
- Preferred: 7 or more years building modern enterprise-grade web applications with strong frontend expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, and/or React.
- Preferred: 5 or more years designing document management or content-centric interfaces for internal teams, partners, and customers.
- Preferred: 5 or more years integrating frontend applications with backend services, APIs, and middleware in complex enterprise environments.
- Proficiency with industry-standard programming languages, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, databases, APIs, messaging, streaming, workflows, containers, and distributed application systems.
- Experience driving technical strategy, mentoring engineers, collaborating cross-functionally, and influencing stakeholders.
- Preferred: experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
