Base Salary

$94k - $179k/yr

Responsibilities

Write high-quality code for complex scenarios with strong test coverage.
Translate product requirements into modular, reusable, scalable, secure, compliant, and maintainable distributed application designs.
Lead design and code reviews across multiple applications.
Lead sprint teams in delivering new or improved features and resolving delivery impediments.
Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to deliver intended functionality.
Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance.
Drive technical strategy and vision for the team.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 5 years of software programming experience, including at least 2 years with technologies used at Mercury.
More than 1 year of experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
Preferred: 7 or more years building modern enterprise-grade web applications with strong frontend expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, and/or React.
Preferred: 5 or more years designing document management or content-centric interfaces for internal teams, partners, and customers.
Preferred: 5 or more years integrating frontend applications with backend services, APIs, and middleware in complex enterprise environments.
Proficiency with industry-standard programming languages, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, databases, APIs, messaging, streaming, workflows, containers, and distributed application systems.
Experience driving technical strategy, mentoring engineers, collaborating cross-functionally, and influencing stakeholders.
Preferred: experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
