Responsibilities
- Provide software development services and collaborate with internal business groups on implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements.
- Analyze information and recommend solutions for business and technical issues.
- Perform coding, unit testing, implementation, troubleshooting, and documentation of software solutions.
- Develop server-side applications using Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Build front-end solutions using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Work with web services, messaging systems, SQL, and relational databases.
- Use automation testing frameworks and monitoring tools to support application quality and performance.
- Participate in team discussions and provide technical guidance and expert opinions.
- Follow the organization's standard development methodology and DevOps processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 15+ years of hands-on software development experience with strong server-side Java proficiency.
- At least 5 years of software development experience with proficiency in Angular and front-end UI technologies.
- Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, web services, messaging, SQL, and relational databases.
- Experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML, including Angular 16 or higher.
- Experience with automation testing frameworks such as Playwright or Cucumber.
- Experience with AI development tools such as Copilot or Windsurf.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, monitoring tools, and DevOps processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, data pipelines, cloud technologies, or the securities and financial services industry is preferred or advantageous.
