Base Salary
$94k - $179k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, test, install, and enhance complex software solutions for the Property Core Platform.
- Investigate and resolve complex application, system, production, and operational issues through troubleshooting.
- Conduct systems analysis and recommend changes to improve operations, reliability, and platform performance.
- Participate in software design reviews, code reviews, and software development lifecycle activities.
- Support system integrations, modernization efforts, risk controls, and production availability goals.
- Mentor junior engineers, potentially mentor peers, and review teammates’ code.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant education and/or experience.
- Four years of software development experience with depth in relevant disciplines or technologies.
- Two years of experience delivering technology solutions across all phases of the software systems and application development lifecycle, including leading code and design reviews.
- Basic understanding of one or more listed modern, cloud, legacy mainframe, programming, database, testing, messaging, and observability technologies.
- Experience troubleshooting applications and systems to address production issues.
- Experience articulating technical challenges and solutions, with a basic understanding of cloud technologies and tools.
- Preferred experience with generative AI and AI-assisted engineering, legacy and modern technology stacks, technical-debt reduction, production health metrics, SLOs, SLAs, reliability, and complex incident resolution.
- AWS, Kubernetes/OpenShift, SAFe Agile, Java, Cloud, or Security-related certifications are preferred.
- US military experience or experience as a military spouse or domestic partner is preferred.
