Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy applications on SAP BTP using Cloud Foundry.
- Build backend and frontend application functionality using object-oriented design principles.
- Implement Java solutions with Spring MVC and Spring Boot.
- Design and develop APIs and RESTful web services with JSON endpoints.
- Create database schemas and data models that support business processes.
- Develop SAP CAP applications using HANA DB and SAP Core Data Services.
- Implement JPA, ORM, OData, and CRUD operations.
- Create automated testing platforms and unit tests.
- Use version-control and development-aiding tools such as Git, SVN, Maven, Gradle, Grunt, and Gulp.
- Configure and troubleshoot the SAP BTP landscape and services using application and system logs.
- Implement client-side JavaScript and SAPUI5 functionality, background jobs, and Redis-based caching where needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in backend and frontend programming languages.
- Understanding of scalable application design principles and object-oriented design.
- Proficiency with Java, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot.
- Experience with API design, RESTful web services, JSON endpoints, database schema design, and CRUD operations.
- Experience developing and deploying applications on SAP BTP with Cloud Foundry.
- Experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, HANA DB, SAP Core Data Services, JPA, ORM, Olingo, and OData.
- Ability to implement automated testing and unit tests.
- Familiarity with Git, SVN, Maven, Gradle, Grunt, and Gulp.
- Knowledge of client-side JavaScript, SAPUI5, cronjobs and background jobs, Gearman or Crunz, and Redis is preferred.
- SAP certification in BTP Extensions, Build, or HANA Cloud is preferred.
- Knowledge of BTP landscape setup, service configuration, and troubleshooting is preferred.
