Responsibilities
- Act as a technical reference for the team by providing advanced technical direction, distributing work, mentoring, and promoting technical development.
- Design and develop new core-banking features while exercising technical leadership within engineering teams.
- Support the product’s day-to-day operation and collaborate on tasks, impediments, and testing discussions.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Mobile, Front-end, and Engineering teams to define solutions.
- Guide the creation of components and patterns within the Design System.
- Perform code reviews, promote engineering best practices, and ensure technical quality.
- Facilitate communication between technology teams and business areas.
- Manage priorities to help ensure delivery within deadlines.
Requirements
- Expertise in Java and/or Kotlin, including concurrency, multithreading, and performance optimization.
- Experience with scalable and resilient architectures and patterns such as CQRS, Event Sourcing, and event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of messaging patterns and tools such as Kafka and RabbitMQ, including pub/sub, idempotency, and distributed transaction compensation.
- Experience with relational, non-relational, and distributed databases, data replication, query optimization, and indexing, including MongoDB, Cassandra, and Redis.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization using OAuth and JWT.
- Experience managing APIs in distributed systems and working with cloud environments.
- Experience using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience implementing Circuit Breaker, fallback, and redundancy strategies with technologies such as Hystrix and Resilience4j.
- Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy in decision-making, and effective time and priority management.
