Responsibilities
- Drive platform reliability, troubleshoot complex production issues, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to postmortems and root-cause analyses.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational workflows using configuration management tools and scripts.
- Monitor environments, automate deployments, apply security hardening and activity auditing, and manage configuration.
- Collaborate with software development and infrastructure operations teams to improve system performance, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and administer centrally managed Jenkins or GitHub Actions tooling.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent work experience.
- 3–4 years of recent Linux/Unix administration experience.
- 3–4 years of scripting experience with Python, Bash, Groovy, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of CI/CD workflows and experience with Git and GitHub.
- Experience administering and securing Enterprise Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Docker images and containers, and configuration management tools such as Puppet or Terraform.
- Experience troubleshooting in diverse technical environments.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS services experience, production Kubernetes deployments, recent RedHat administration, REST APIs, networking, DNS, Nginx, HAProxy, Apache, and security best practices for managed DevOps tools.
