Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance embedded firmware for sensor systems with high security requirements.
- Create technical concepts for operating-system management, IT security, secure boot, encryption, and algorithm development.
- Support and optimize build processes and perform DevOps activities.
- Maintain and further develop DSP code, Linux applications, and standalone embedded software.
- Develop and maintain application-oriented software solutions and graphical user interfaces with Qt.
- Analyze measurement and field data and derive technical improvement measures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary development and hardware teams to implement system solutions.
Requirements
- Completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical-scientific field.
- Several years of professional experience in embedded software development, ideally at least five years.
- Experience developing embedded systems under Linux and working with DSPs and hardware-near communication, such as with FPGAs.
- Knowledge of secure boot, encryption, or IT security is advantageous.
- Proficiency with Git, Jira, and common Microsoft Office applications.
- Good written and spoken English skills.
- Structured, independent, and quality-oriented working style and enthusiasm for developing complex technical solutions in a team.
