Responsibilities
- Contribute hands-on DevOps expertise to customer projects as a consultant.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Use infrastructure-as-code tools to automate infrastructure management.
- Monitor and continuously optimize customers’ on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain alerting, monitoring, and tracing.
- Collaborate with developers and testers in agile cross-functional Scrum or Kanban teams.
- Ensure smooth operation of developed applications and represent the operations perspective to development teams, Product Owners, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least three years of DevOps experience and prior experience in operations.
- Completed IT studies or an equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, GitLab, Linux, Docker, and Red Hat OpenShift.
- Programming and scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, and Java.
- Strong knowledge of implementing CI/CD pipelines and deploying microservice architectures on Kubernetes.
- Very good understanding of network infrastructures, including routing, load balancing, and DNS.
- Experience working in agile cross-functional teams is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, openness toward colleagues and customers, and interest in consulting.
- Business-fluent German and good English.
- Goal-oriented, structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style.
