Responsibilities
- Lead the redesign and evolution of the Mobile Branding framework for custom-branded iOS and Android applications.
- Modernize the end-to-end branding pipeline across the Forum application, provisioning tools, and backend build service.
- Build reliable, scalable, and maintainable automation using microservices, cloud-native infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.
- Own mobile build systems, code-signing workflows, and the full automated build lifecycle.
- Design and manage AWS infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment automation.
- Debug complex issues across Forum process models, GitLab pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
- Mentor teams and lead cross-functional engineering initiatives.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of strong experience with Android and iOS frameworks and mobile application development workflows.
- Experience with Fastlane, Xcode, Gradle, mobile build systems, and iOS and Android code-signing workflows.
- Proficiency in Python; experience with Ruby, Bash, or Go is a plus.
- Advanced experience with AWS infrastructure, including S3, Lambda, and EC2, and CI/CD pipeline design.
- Strong knowledge of pipeline creation, deployment automation, and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
- Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and performance tools.
- Ability to lead architecture and redesign efforts, debug distributed systems, mentor teams, and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience building software in an enterprise SaaS environment with a customer-focused approach to automation and tooling.
