
Senior Quality Engineer, Infrastructure

Responsibilities
- Design and implement intelligent test selection systems to optimize regression testing.
- Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks to improve test reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement quality gates and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to initiatives across QE pillars: Prevent, Prove, Observe, and Scale.
- Develop tools and dashboards for test analytics to provide visibility into test metrics.
- Solve complex testing challenges including test parallelization and intelligent failure analysis.
- Share knowledge and best practices to elevate QE infrastructure capabilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development or test automation, with 2 years focused on test infrastructure.
- Experience with Page Object Model patterns and E2E test architecture using frameworks like Playwright.
- Strong experience with CI/CD systems such as BuildKite, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Proven ability to build developer-friendly testing tools that drive adoption.
- Experience with test analytics and using metrics for infrastructure improvements.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation and Python or Go for tooling.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and testing in complex environments.
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for complex test infrastructure issues.
- Good communication skills for documenting technical solutions and collaboration.
- Track record of improving test reliability and reducing execution times.
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications in testing.
- Experience in adtech or similar high-scale, data-intensive systems.
