Responsibilities

  • Design and implement intelligent test selection systems to optimize regression testing and reduce feedback cycles
  • Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks that improve reliability and reduce flaky tests
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement quality gates, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and reduce regression cycle times
  • Contribute to the Prevent, Prove, Observe, and Scale quality engineering initiatives
  • Develop tools and dashboards for test analytics, coverage, reliability metrics, and performance trends
  • Solve testing infrastructure challenges involving test parallelization, isolation, and intelligent failure analysis
  • Share testing infrastructure knowledge and best practices across the organization

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development or test automation, including at least 2 years focused on test infrastructure
  • Experience with Page Object Model patterns and end-to-end test architecture, including frameworks such as Playwright
  • Strong experience with CI/CD systems such as BuildKite, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions and with test automation frameworks
  • Ability to build developer-friendly testing tools that improve adoption and productivity
  • Experience using test analytics and metrics to guide infrastructure improvements
  • Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for test automation and Python or Go for infrastructure tooling
  • Understanding of distributed systems and testing in complex environments
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for complex test infrastructure issues
  • Good communication and technical documentation skills
  • Track record of improving test reliability and reducing test execution times
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in testing, such as test selection and self-healing tests
  • Experience in adtech or similar high-scale, data-intensive systems
