Responsibilities
- Build performant, testable, scalable, secure, and maintainable client code.
- Ensure code security through Software Composition Analysis, including triage, prioritization, remediation, and verification.
- Design and implement scalable AI and agentic workflows using LLMs with a focus on reliability and observability.
- Build and maintain responsive React frontend features alongside backend services.
- Own projects from technical design through successful launch and remediate technical debt.
- Gather requirements, maintain documentation, track project status, estimate work, and participate in code reviews.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Use GitHub Copilot and spec-driven development practices within an AI-assisted engineering workflow.
Requirements
- Extensive senior-level professional software engineering experience with strong Python and distributed systems expertise.
- Ability to own technical features from design through production deployment with minimal supervision.
- Deep understanding of system design, architecture, and ambiguous technical problem solving.
- Expertise with Git source control tools and Python package management.
- Experience with Pytest, React, Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, AWS, relational databases, and medium-to-large software systems.
- Intermediate design proficiency with UML, C4, or ArchiMate.
- Working knowledge of GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants and spec-driven development practices.
- Preferred experience with Flask, Snowflake, agentic frameworks such as MCP and A2A, Apache Airflow, Automic Automation, HTTP, JSON, XML, SCA platforms, Claude Code, and Cursor.
- Proficiency in English and object-oriented programming concepts.
