Responsibilities
- Create and interpret detailed technical and functional design specifications.
- Develop modular, reusable code and libraries using established development best practices.
- Integrate generative AI, agentic AI systems, and API-based model interactions.
- Support deployment automation and cloud-based application delivery.
- Apply security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Analyze business processes and associate application functionality with business needs by reviewing code and consulting analyst and operations teams.
- Use knowledge of Agile and Scrum practices to support delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 10–15 years of relevant experience.
- Working experience with Python, Java, and SQL, including DDL, DML, and DQL.
- Experience with Git, GitLab, Maven, Gradle, CI/CD pipelines, or deployment automation tools.
- Experience with Docker and AWS services including S3 and EC2.
- Experience with VS Code with Copilot, Cursor, or other AI-assisted development tools.
- Understanding of generative AI frameworks, agentic AI systems, and API-based model interaction.
- Experience with Linux, SSH, and shell scripting.
- P&C insurance domain knowledge or prior experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of AI model deployment, AWS Bedrock or Azure OpenAI, HashiStack, MLflow, LangChain, NATS/JetStream, or OSGi is preferred.
