Responsibilities
- Lead product feature development autonomously as an individual contributor.
- Maintain, develop, and architect software applications and systems.
- Bridge architects, product management, and the engineering team.
- Ensure technical quality, unit-test coverage, and adherence to development and security processes.
- Identify and handle security vulnerabilities and resolve customer-escalated issues.
- Propose, prototype, and evaluate new technical solutions through proof-of-concept work.
- Improve application performance, scalability, technical processes, and developer productivity.
- Maintain and own application deployments and chart definitions.
- Contribute innovative ideas and participate in technology and innovation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or Electronics and Communication.
- 10+ years of application development experience with Java and cloud technology stacks.
- Strong experience implementing REST API-based applications with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, object-oriented programming, SOLID design principles, and common design patterns.
- Experience with at least one cloud stack, including GCP or AWS.
- Hands-on experience with a modern cloud-friendly language such as Python or Node.js is an added advantage.
- Experience with unit testing and a BDD automation framework is preferred.
- Experience with relational databases such as MSSQL or MySQL.
- Exposure to microservices architecture, Docker-based applications, cloud applications, and Kubernetes is advantageous.
- Experience leveraging AI in routine work or personal proof-of-concept projects is an added advantage.
