Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technical architecture for the frontend, API layer, application data model, authentication, real-time data strategy, and AWS infrastructure.
- Define multi-tenant frontend architecture, including routing, lazy loading, shared components, design system governance, role-based access, and tenant-specific configuration.
- Architect worklists, exception dashboards, connector configuration, approval workflows, visual field mapping, and other data-intensive enterprise interfaces.
- Design RESTful APIs, service contracts, versioning, error handling, pagination, and integrations with orchestration, audit, notification, and exception-routing services.
- Own DynamoDB single-table modeling, access patterns, GSI strategy, partition keys, and query optimization.
- Design WebSocket or SSE real-time architecture, connection management, reconnection, and server-side event delivery.
- Define frontend and API AWS infrastructure using services including CloudFront, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, and Cognito.
- Lead architecture and code reviews, establish coding and testing standards, create ADRs, conduct design sessions, and mentor engineers.
- Collaborate with platform engineers, AI teams, finance SMEs, clients, and technical stakeholders to adapt reusable solutions to client constraints.
- Define and validate non-functional requirements for performance, latency, availability, and security.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of fullstack engineering experience, including at least 4 years in a technical lead or architect role owning frontend and backend design decisions.
- Deep expertise in React or Angular with TypeScript, component architecture, performance optimization, state management with Redux or NgRx, and large-scale application structure.
- Strong Node.js or Python backend API development experience, including middleware patterns, API Gateway integration, and Lambda architecture.
- Deep DynamoDB and NoSQL expertise covering single-table design, access-pattern modeling, GSI strategy, partition-key design, and performance optimization.
- Solid AWS architecture experience with CloudFront, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, Cognito, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and X-Ray, plus AWS CDK or Terraform.
- Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS frontend architectures, role-based access control, tenant isolation, shared components, and real-time frontend patterns.
- Experience building enterprise UIs with operational dashboards, configurable data grids, multi-step approval workflows, and complex form validation.
- Ability to define frontend engineering standards, testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, architecture documentation, and design reviews.
- Ability to remain hands-on by writing reference implementations, unblocking engineers, and validating architectural decisions through working code.
- Strong communication skills with engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with finance and accounting operations interfaces, AI and LLM outputs in enterprise UIs, regulated-finance audit trails and SOX controls, micro-frontends, finance KPIs, SAML or OIDC SSO, Cypress, or Playwright.
