Base Salary
$93k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, deliver, and operate business-critical distributed systems at scale.
- Build and maintain full-stack applications and large-scale software solutions.
- Apply software engineering principles including data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and concurrency.
- Work with SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Develop and operate systems using cloud vendors including Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Build and maintain asynchronous and event-based architectures.
- Create and maintain frontend client applications using Angular or React.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines and application performance monitoring.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and foundation in data structures, algorithms, patterns, and concurrency.
- Strong experience with at least one programming language, such as .NET or Java.
- Experience using full-stack development to ship and operate large-scale systems.
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational database management systems.
- Strong experience designing, implementing, and operating distributed systems at scale.
- Strong experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred: experience with Kafka, REST APIs, Protobuf, gRPC, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, New Relic, Grafana, Angular, or React.
- Preferred: familiarity with asynchronous, event-based architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
