Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, and architect large-scale big data applications.
- Design, develop, and manage data enrichment pipelines.
- Develop MapReduce code that runs on Hadoop clusters.
- Support stable and performant data exports for internal and external consumers.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, DevOps, and QA through the full development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 6+ years of Java development experience with streaming platforms and Spark, Scala, and Kafka.
- Experience developing MapReduce code for Hadoop clusters.
- Exposure to a NoSQL database.
- Exceptional experience with cloud technologies such as AWS.
- Hands-on experience solving challenging data engineering problems.
