Responsibilities
- Design, create, maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Administer Azure DevOps services including Repos, Pipelines, Boards, and related services.
- Manage Git repositories, branching strategies, pull requests, and code management practices.
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent scripting languages.
- Deploy, configure, and manage resources on Microsoft Azure.
- Implement infrastructure as code to automate and standardize infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
- Monitor pipeline performance and resolve build, deployment, and release issues.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, and stakeholders to improve deployment processes.
- Implement security and quality checks within CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevSecOps practices.
- Drive continuous improvement of DevOps processes, automation, and engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer or in a similar DevOps role.
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps services and proven experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong proficiency with Git, including branching, merging, pull requests, and branching strategies.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud environments.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent.
- Practical experience with infrastructure as code concepts and tools.
- Understanding of build, release, deployment, and environment management processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with security scanning, vulnerability assessment, DevSecOps practices, and security or quality gates is preferred.
- Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator, Azure Developer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or equivalent are preferred.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and cloud automation is an advantage.
