Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, designers, project managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver software solutions.
- Design, build, and optimize scalable applications, APIs, and microservices for Unified Policy and Distribution Engine services.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and automate software delivery through reliable CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot production issues across platforms, and participate in on-call rotations.
- Evaluate technologies, libraries, and tools through benchmarking and proof-of-concept projects and provide recommendations for the technology stack.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in a software development role.
- Strong programming or scripting experience with languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript; the title also identifies Java and Go backend development.
- Understanding of software development, system administration, networking, and security concepts including routing, firewalls, and gateways.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes and basic knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure are desired.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, independence, and adaptability skills are desired.
