Responsibilities
- Advise customers on complex cloud security and compliance challenges as a trusted technical advisor.
- Design, develop, and implement secure Google Cloud architectures and solutions that meet customer security requirements.
- Deliver best-practice recommendations, strategic presentations, tutorials, blog articles, sample code, and technical presentations.
- Manage senior customer stakeholders, build consensus, and drive positive outcomes on the Google Cloud platform.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Product Engineering to improve Google Cloud products and features.
- Travel cross-region up to 30% for meetings, technical reviews, and delivery activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Six years of experience architecting or developing secure cloud solutions.
- Experience designing enterprise cloud solutions and supporting customer projects through completion.
- Experience coding in one or more general-purpose languages, including Python, Java, Go, C, or C++.
- Experience implementing security in Google Cloud or other cloud environments.
- Experience implementing FedRAMP, PCI, or HIPAA security requirements in cloud environments.
- Understanding of attacks and mitigation methods across at least two security areas, such as network security, web application security, penetration testing, access control, cryptography, monitoring, incident response, or security tooling.
- Understanding of cloud security principles.
- Fluency in English and Japanese, Korean, or Mandarin to support regional client relationship management.
