Base Salary
$130k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain existing production systems and improve security posture.
- Build prototypes and identify, design, and test security improvements.
- Implement and promote secure coding practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Work closely with software engineers to ensure smooth integration of hardware and software.
- Partner with teams to define software requirements and system design.
- Review and guide software development for ITAR-controlled payloads.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. Government standards and ITAR regulations.
- Handle ITAR systems and control access to sensitive technical data.
- Create and update detailed software documentation for compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related STEM field, or 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, or Rust.
- Experience designing and implementing security solutions for operating systems or large-scale infrastructure.
- Active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q clearance is required.
- Deep knowledge of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex issues.
