Base Salary
$184k - $357k/yr
Responsibilities
- Test Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking features on NVIDIA Spectrum Ethernet switches running NVIDIA-Cumulus Linux.
- Create feature and system test plans and design test beds and network topologies.
- Develop automated test suites and maintain continuous functional regression automation.
- Report defects, validate fixes and workarounds, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues.
- Participate in requirements and design reviews and lead verification activities for assigned features.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of software quality engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with Layer 2 or Layer 3 protocols such as MLAG, VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, and EVPN.
- Experience using Ixia or Spirent test tools and test management tools.
- Strong Python or other scripting-language skills, with coding, debugging, and software engineering knowledge.
- Experience working with Unix or Linux-based operating systems.
- Performance testing and performance issue resolution experience is a plus.
- Experience with CI tools including Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins is a plus.
- Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude or Cursor is a plus.
Benefits
- Competitive base salary of $184,000-$287,500 for Level 4 or $224,000-$356,500 for Level 5.
