Responsibilities
- Perform QA testing of digital experiences using automated UI and API testing techniques.
- Develop and modify JavaScript modules, Web Services tools, REST API and XML-SOAP messages, and structured programs.
- Determine testing scope and approach and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to approve test strategies.
- Develop and execute test scenarios and cases across SIT, performance, UAT, automation, production, and validation phases.
- Create QA test strategies, methodologies, project plans, schedules, milestones, and staffing plans for complex initiatives.
- Generate test execution, defect, and ad hoc reports and provide quality metrics to IT teams and management.
- Validate testable business processes, test data, environments, and entry and exit criteria.
- Track quality metrics and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain approval of test plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field, or equivalent work experience substituted for the degree.
- At least three years of experience in SQA, software testing, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience with automated testing practices and generating test automation scripts.
- At least one year of experience debugging code and analytics tags in web or mobile applications.
- Experience with testing fundamentals, Java, Selenium, Cucumber, REST Assured, Postman, Maven, UI automation, and API testing.
- Preferred experience includes Web Services technologies, mobile testing, leadership interaction, large matrixed organizations, IT vendors, SDLC implementation projects, technical documentation, integration technologies, virtual testing environments, healthcare testing, business systems, and data marts or data warehouses.
- A master's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field and QAI, ASQ, or similar certification are preferred.
