Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop new features and products in the Elixir codebase powering web applications and APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and scope projects and initiatives.
- Present innovative engineering solutions to senior leadership and align initiatives with company goals.
- Own ambiguous technical and business problems while ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Ship high-quality, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
- Mentor engineers, influence team success, and foster a culture of excellence.
- Proactively identify and eliminate technical roadblocks.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining production services at scale and building reliable systems.
- Ability to write high-quality, reliable code and take ownership of systems.
- Experience solving ambiguous problems.
- Deep understanding of web and database fundamentals.
- Desire to mentor and support other team members.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Fintech experience is a nice-to-have.
- Experience with Elixir, React, Kubernetes, and Postgres is a nice-to-have.
- Experience at a rapidly scaling company and interest in Bitcoin are nice-to-haves.
