Responsibilities
- Lead the technical implementation of the Sitecore-to-Contentful migration across content, applications, and integrations.
- Guide application modernization involving React frontends and supporting services.
- Define content modelling, transformation, migration automation, and validation approaches.
- Coordinate engineering activities, resolve technical challenges, and manage dependencies and delivery risks.
- Establish AI-first, spec-driven development practices and guide effective use of AI coding assistants.
- Own engineering quality, automated testing, release readiness, migration cutover, rollback, and post-migration support.
- Provide technical direction, mentoring, coaching, and stakeholder communication.
- Drive technical planning, risk management, and implementation decisions across the development team.
Requirements
- Significant engineering experience and technical leadership of complex digital platform deliveries.
- Proven experience with enterprise CMS migrations, replatforming, or major headless CMS implementations.
- Strong practical knowledge of Contentful, Sitecore, and related migration and integration challenges.
- Strong understanding of React, TypeScript, API-driven architectures, and application modernization.
- Experience leading engineering teams, making technical decisions, and assuring delivery quality.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted software development and AI-native, spec-driven engineering practices.
- Strong knowledge of automated testing, CI/CD, release processes, and technical risk management.
- Strong stakeholder communication, consultancy, and technical leadership skills.
- Preferred experience with Sitecore-to-Contentful migrations, Next.js, Sitecore JSS, composable architecture, and AI-supported migrations or legacy application modernization.
- Experience with multilingual, multisite, or enterprise content platforms is desirable.
