Responsibilities
- Lead the technical implementation of the Sitecore-to-Contentful migration across content, applications, and integrations.
- Shape migration options, Contentful implementation patterns, content models, transformation approaches, automation, and validation.
- Guide modernization of React frontends and supporting services while remaining hands-on for complex implementation and technical problem-solving.
- Coordinate engineering activities, technical dependencies, delivery risks, migration cutover, rollback, and post-migration support.
- Establish AI-first and spec-driven development practices, including responsible use and review of AI-generated code.
- Own engineering quality, automated testing, CI/CD standards, release readiness, and implementation consistency.
- Provide technical direction, mentoring, and coaching to developers.
- Act as a technical contact for clients, architects, and delivery teams and communicate risks, trade-offs, and recommendations.
Requirements
- Significant engineering experience and technical leadership of complex digital platform deliveries.
- Proven experience with enterprise CMS migrations, replatforming, or major headless CMS implementations.
- Strong practical knowledge of Contentful, Sitecore, and related migration and integration challenges.
- Strong understanding of React, TypeScript, API-driven architectures, and application modernization.
- Experience leading engineering teams, making technical decisions, and assuring delivery quality.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted software development and adoption of AI-native, spec-driven engineering practices.
- Knowledge of automated testing, CI/CD, release processes, and technical risk management.
- Strong stakeholder communication, consultancy, and technical leadership skills.
- Previous technical leadership of a Sitecore-to-Contentful migration is desirable.
- Experience with Next.js, Sitecore JSS, composable architecture, AI-assisted migrations, legacy application modernization, multilingual platforms, multisite platforms, or enterprise content platforms is desirable.
