Responsibilities
- Deliver a high-quality mobile experience for Treasury users.
- Scope and lead technical projects that support product evolution and scale.
- Design, build, expand, and maintain mobile-specific cross-platform components, backing APIs, and services.
- Collaborate with partners to design and launch new features and capabilities.
- Align technical decisions with Stripe’s strategic initiatives while addressing the needs of emerging businesses.
- Evaluate when to leverage existing infrastructure versus building bespoke solutions.
- Develop and execute short- and long-term product roadmaps.
- Make tradeoffs across business priorities, user experience, and long-term technical sustainability.
Requirements
- Strong technical background with 3+ years of industry experience.
- Experience building mobile applications, including work beyond the client layer.
- Understanding of good practices for building and working with UIs and APIs.
- Ability to prioritize business impact, scalable solutions, and sustainable technical foundations.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build trust across teams.
- Commitment to mentoring and growing engineers.
- Preferred: experience using React Native.
- Preferred: experience creating intuitive, easy-to-use product features.
- Preferred: experience at financial product companies and interest in financial products and markets.
