Responsibilities
- Develop new features, sustain existing functionality, and handle engineering escalations.
- Participate in product definition, design, implementation, debugging, testing, customer support, and ongoing product improvement.
- Contribute across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Android engineering on API contracts, releases, and integration troubleshooting.
- Work with product owners and stakeholders from ideation and discovery through delivery.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and engineering planning.
- Drive simpler, more robust, efficient architectures and reliable self-healing services.
- Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Own solutions through their lifecycle, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of strong development experience with Node.js, microservices, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with TypeScript and JavaScript, with interest in working across the stack.
- Experience with relational databases supporting SQL reporting and analytics.
- Experience building and maintaining APIs, services, and data-driven applications.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery and GitOps tooling.
- Practical experience deploying, configuring, and supporting containerized applications in Kubernetes environments.
- Experience working directly with product owners, stakeholders, or users during product discovery and ideation.
- Strong commitment to automated testing and reliable, maintainable software.
- Strong written and oral communication skills for varied internal and external audiences.
