Responsibilities
- Design and develop frameworks for processing high-volume transactions with Apple’s partners.
- Drive enhancements and scalability for B2B integration platforms using strong technical judgment and leadership.
- Build solutions that improve availability and consistency across multiple data centers and cloud providers.
- Develop frameworks for persistence, event processing, uniqueness, transaction correlation, and notifications.
- Collaborate with project developers, operations teams, and systems engineers.
- Tune application and database performance and lead large innovation-focused projects.
Requirements
- More than 2 years of experience building frameworks with middleware such as Apache Camel.
- More than 8 years of Java programming experience building middleware or backend applications.
- More than 5 years of experience with Java frameworks such as Spring.
- More than 5 years of experience with Oracle or similar relational databases and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- More than 5 years of experience designing and building scalable, reliable distributed-system solutions.
- Strong object-oriented design and analysis skills.
- Knowledge of HTTP/S, TCP, DNS, web application load balancing, operating environments, and network protocols.
- Deep understanding of authentication, authorization, signing, encryption, SSL/TLS, SSH/SFTP, PKI, X.509 certificates, and PGP.
- Preferred qualifications include bash or Perl scripting, cloud-solution integrations, and familiarity with AI/ML fundamentals.
- Preferred qualifications also include Agile development experience, strong communication and collaboration skills, ownership, problem-solving ability, and experience leading large projects.
