Responsibilities
- Resolve customer issues through phone, email, chat, and in-person support.
- Supervise customer cases raised to vendors and third-party providers.
- Deliver software solution training and professional services for customer implementations.
- Author blogs, videos, podcasts, and webinars to educate users and provide self-help resources.
- Suggest improvements to customer design and manufacturing processes in the electrical control systems market.
- Build solution definitions using electrical design and manufacturing applications to address customer challenges.
- Document requirements and propose solutions in the electrical or automation space.
- Drive customer success through strong technical interactions and customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or mechanical engineering.
- At least five years of related experience, preferably working with electrical design tools in the enclosure and automation design space.
- Experience with post-sales implementation and support, applications engineering, technical software support, training, or field support.
- Implementation experience is highly preferred.
- Programming experience with .NET, VBScript, or Python, or project management experience is preferred.
- Experience with electrical CAD software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Zuken E3.series, SEE Electrical, EPLAN, or SolidWorks Electrical.
- Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL, Oracle, or SQLite is preferred.
- Fluent English and Spanish are required; Portuguese is a strong asset.
- Ability to travel 25% of the time on average, with travel potentially reaching 50%.
