Base Salary
$221k - $298k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect scalable, secure, maintainable, interoperable analytical and customer-centric platforms.
- Contribute hands-on across the software lifecycle for approximately 40–60% of the role.
- Resolve complex, ambiguous, cross-team technical problems spanning multiple teams and domains.
- Define technical standards, patterns, reference architectures, and measures for AI impact, reliability, and safety in production.
- Design evaluation, observability, and guardrail frameworks for responsible AI integrations.
- Assess AI impact on software performance, seller productivity, and customer satisfaction using clear metrics.
- Shape technical strategy and product roadmaps by communicating trade-offs to senior product and business leaders.
- Coach and mentor Staff and senior engineers and grow the organization’s AI engineering capabilities.
- Evaluate emerging AI and data technologies and identify high-leverage opportunities for platform applications.
Requirements
- 12+ years of relevant experience building web, software, or data-intensive applications, with technical leadership at the Senior Staff level or above.
- Demonstrated experience architecting end-to-end ecosystems for analytical and customer-centric platforms at scale.
- Expert proficiency in at least one object-oriented language, such as Java/J2EE or C#.
- Experience designing and shipping AI/ML capabilities in production, ideally including LLM-based or agentic systems.
- Experience with multi-agent orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt and context engineering, agent memory, evaluation, and guardrails is relevant to the role.
- Ability to influence technical direction across teams and communicate complex trade-offs to senior product and business leaders.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
