Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior technical lead and subject matter expert for Oracle Cloud EPCM.
- Design and evolve allocation models, rules, driver logic, calculations, metadata, and solution standards.
- Design integrations across Oracle Cloud EPCM, General Ledger, EPB, and other finance platforms.
- Translate Finance requirements into scalable configurations, integrations, automations, and technical designs.
- Lead enhancements through solution design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and operational support.
- Ensure solutions satisfy SOX, IT General Controls, audit, access management, change management, and traceability requirements.
- Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Internal Controls, Audit, Tax, Treasury, Finance Technology, and data teams.
- Identify control gaps, data-quality issues, performance risks, and opportunities to reduce manual work.
- Provide technical mentorship, participate in design reviews, and promote consistent engineering practices.
- Influence platform direction and adopt Oracle Cloud capabilities that improve operational effectiveness and user experience.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience in senior engineering, technical leadership, solution architecture, or platform leadership within complex finance technology environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent related professional experience.
- Deep hands-on experience designing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Cloud EPM and Oracle EPCM.
- Experience with allocation models, cost-driver logic, business rules, finance data structures, and planning or forecasting processes.
- Experience integrating Oracle Cloud EPCM with Oracle Cloud General Ledger and Oracle Cloud EPB.
- Experience with Data Management, EPM Automate, REST APIs, and enterprise data integration patterns.
- Knowledge of metadata and dimension design, hierarchy governance, security models, data lineage, reconciliation, and auditability.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, SOX controls, ITGCs, access controls, change management, and testing evidence requirements.
- Ability to lead complex, ambiguous initiatives across multiple systems and stakeholder groups while influencing without direct authority.
- Proficient analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills in finance-critical environments.
- Preferred master’s degree in Finance, Technology, or a related field.
- Preferred experience with Oracle Cloud FCCS, ARCS, TRCS, Smart View, Narrative Reporting, or related Finance reporting tools.
- Preferred familiarity with Calculation Manager, scripting, automation, and advanced Oracle Cloud EPM capabilities.
- Preferred experience working in structured delivery environments and mentoring engineers, analysts, and project team members.
