Base Salary

$168k - $227k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical design, implementation, and operational health of platform capabilities and delivery workflows.
  • Build production-grade software to help Proserve and Frontier AI teams understand customer context, develop solutions, coordinate delivery, and measure customer outcomes.
  • Turn recurring customer needs into reusable software components, APIs, templates, and automation.
  • Lead design reviews and make tradeoffs involving reliability, security, performance, cost, delivery speed, and maintainability.
  • Build secure integrations with AWS services, internal platforms, customer systems, and governed data products.
  • Establish testing, monitoring, logging, alerting, documentation, and incident-response mechanisms.
  • Partner with Security Engineering and Product or Data Engineering on security requirements, risk remediation, instrumentation, event schemas, and data contracts.
  • Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and raise the technical bar across engineering teams and Forward Deployed Engineering pods.
  • Communicate technical decisions, risks, and delivery progress to engineering, product, go-to-market, and customer stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
  • 3+ years of experience designing and building agentic orchestration or workflow-orchestration systems, including multi-step agent workflows, tool or service orchestration, or distributed-service state management.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience covering coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Preferred: experience building AI/ML-powered product features, including evaluation, accuracy or precision tuning, or reducing hallucinations in production AI systems.
  • Preferred: experience with security-by-design, row-level entitlements, or regulated-data handling such as PHI under a BAA.
  • Preferred: experience integrating enterprise SaaS platforms such as Salesforce or governed data products.
