Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, DevOps Engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements, define test strategies, and ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, test data, validation reports, and automated testing suites.
  • Validate cloud deployments across multiple environments and assess new features, enhancements, bug fixes, and platform upgrades for release readiness.
  • Develop automated UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing solutions to improve regression coverage and efficiency.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices with DevOps teams.
  • Validate reliability, scalability, security, and performance of cloud-hosted applications and services.
  • Collaborate with Customer Support and field teams to reproduce, troubleshoot, and validate customer-reported issues.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and work across Development, Product, DevOps, Support, and R&D teams.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or validation engineering, including significant experience validating enterprise software products.
  • Strong experience testing cloud-hosted or cloud-native applications deployed on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Hands-on experience creating test strategies, test plans, test cases, and validation reports for complex software systems.
  • Experience validating REST APIs, microservices, and service-based architectures.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Test Plans, CI/CD pipelines, and release validation processes.
  • Experience performing functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and upgrade testing for enterprise applications.
  • Expertise in test automation using Selenium, Playwright, NUnit, C#, or equivalent technologies.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, product-quality risk assessment, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Knowledge of Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Storage Accounts, Service Bus, and Key Vault.
  • Experience with API automation tools such as Postman or equivalent frameworks.
  • Experience with PowerShell, scripting, test environment automation, observability tools, application monitoring, log analysis, and troubleshooting cloud deployments.
  • Exposure to performance, scalability, reliability, and security testing.
  • Knowledge of industrial software, engineering applications, or manufacturing domain solutions.
  • Experience with customer-facing cloud services and production deployment validation scenarios.
  • Interest in adopting AI/Agentic AI-driven testing and debugging to improve engineering productivity.
