Responsibilities

Develop full-stack applications as part of a unified platform and user experience.
Build, maintain, and support a near-real-time reporting and visualization platform from the API layer outward.
Contribute to frameworks, environments, build systems, tooling, platform architecture, and shared-code best practices.
Unify enterprise visualization and reporting tools through APIs and embedded reporting.
Write concise, optimized, well-tested code and review teammates’ code and pull requests.
Participate in planning discussions, team interactions, feature proposals, and broader platform discussions.
Support associated tooling through an on-call rotation and deliver functional, supportable products.
Collaborate with design and test teammates and write documentation for platforms, functionality, and processes.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a closely related field.
5+ years of progressive experience in software development, including automated testing of front-end and back-end services.
5+ years of full-stack application development experience.
5+ years of experience delivering high-test-coverage software using unit and front-end test frameworks.
3+ years of experience building cross-functional and broadly scoped platforms.
Proficiency in application development with Node.js and React using JavaScript or TypeScript.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code systems such as Terraform, Kubernetes, or CloudFormation.
Experience working in CI/CD/CT environments and tuning performance for large-data-set front-end visualizations.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
Preferred qualifications include experience with Druid, shared React component libraries, AWS, Kafka, Amazon SQS, Kinesis, Docker, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, continuous integration and delivery systems, web accessibility, documentation, and test mocking mechanisms.
