Responsibilities
- Lead and drive architecture design of Fulfillment Technologies for scale and reliability.
- Align with stakeholders on the roadmap and future direction of technology.
- Navigate and alleviate technical obstacles at the organizational level.
- Decompose complex problems into straightforward solutions.
- Write code to lead by example on high-priority projects.
- Identify opportunities in business and technology proactively.
- Review and adopt new technologies to achieve business objectives.
- Recruit and develop world-class engineering talent.
- Drive development of automation and robotics initiatives.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in developing and operating backend services.
- Solid track record of delivering large and complex systems.
- Experience designing and developing large-scale distributed systems.
- Broad understanding of key technologies in storage and data processing.
- Capable of object-oriented design and development.
- Strong familiarity with Java and the Spring Framework.
- Service development experience in an AWS environment.
- Experience driving improvements in code quality.
