Responsibilities
- Participate in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs.
- Identify system enhancements using script tools and code analysis.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and recommend programming solutions.
- Install and support customer-facing application systems.
- Analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues.
- Conduct application testing and debugging.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve problems using acquired technical experience.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts.
- Assess and escalate technology, compliance, and control risks appropriately.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
- Intermediate-level experience in an applications development role.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes.
