Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and operate complex full-stack cloud-native applications on Google Cloud.
- Gather client requirements, develop technical designs, and act as a technical advisor throughout delivery.
- Lead and mentor onshore and offshore project teams, conduct code and peer reviews, and lead a small GCP pod.
- Apply Terraform, CI/CD, observability, security, and modern Agile engineering practices.
- Build solutions across data and AI, generative and agentic AI, customer engagement, cloud modernization, security operations, marketing intelligence, and workplace collaboration domains.
- Create reusable assets, proof-of-values, accelerators, reference architectures, estimates, and value-based offerings.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience with hands-on GCP delivery and production support.
- At least 2–3 years building or operating solutions using GCP products, including experience with IAM and observability.
- Strong experience with an object-oriented programming language such as Python, Java/JVM, or Node.js.
- Hands-on Google Cloud product delivery covering design, build, and production operation rather than only hosting custom development on GCP.
- Experience with Cloud Run or GKE, Terraform, CI/CD, observability, IAM, OAuth2/OIDC, and secrets management.
- Domain depth in at least one of Customer 360, CCAI/contact-center solutions, cloud modernization, or data and AI.
- Experience leading a small GCP pod through solution design, estimation, code reviews, and client communication.
- Strong solutioning and offering mindset, including reusable assets, proof-of-values, estimation, and value-based outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required.
- Google Cloud certifications are preferred.
