Responsibilities
- Design and develop technologies and products for the online insurance setup and purchase process.
- Solve complex problems and challenges as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in design, code, and security reviews.
- Contribute to Agile/Scrum meetings and help the team progress.
- Work autonomously in a high-performance environment and contribute to a collaborative workplace.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Software Engineering, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- 6 to 10 years of professional experience.
- Very strong knowledge of Angular, JavaScript, and CSS, with good knowledge of Java.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, MongoDB, Oracle, SOAP, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and the listed development and delivery tools.
- Familiarity with an Agile/Scrum environment and a DevOps mindset.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, collaboration, and adaptability skills.
- Candidates located in Quebec must be bilingual and able to interact regularly with English-speaking colleagues across Canada.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada from the anticipated start date and throughout employment.
