Responsibilities
- Build internal systems and tooling that leverage AI and machine learning.
- Architect scalable RAG systems and implement LLM evaluation frameworks.
- Develop full-stack applications and backend services using production software engineering practices.
- Collaborate with traders, researchers, and engineers to define and implement critical features.
- Research emerging technologies and evaluate frameworks for trading and AI systems.
- Drive projects from conception to production, including planning, execution, and operational handoff.
- Maintain uptime and reliability through monitoring, alerting, and proactive maintenance.
- Write maintainable, documented code, conduct code reviews, and contribute to process and technology improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- 4–7+ years of experience building production software systems with demonstrated technical leadership.
- Strong full-stack development experience with modern web frameworks and backend services.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with at least one of Go, Rust, C++, or Java.
- Deep understanding of API design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and orchestration platforms.
- Knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, testing strategies, and code maintainability.
- Strong experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, and agentic AI systems.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead technical discussions.
