Responsibilities
- Develop software using C#, Java, or another object-oriented language.
- Create and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Support delivery and support capabilities for complex client programmes.
- Plan and organise work, estimate tasks, deliver on time, and report issues and progress accurately.
- Troubleshoot problems and contribute to effective technical solutions.
- Work collaboratively with project teams and clients, including UK-based travel when required.
- Identify personal development needs and participate in ongoing learning and certification.
- Go beyond programming to contribute to broader delivery activities.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software development experience using C#, Java, or a similar object-oriented language.
- A Computer Science BSc or similar discipline.
- Ability to learn new programming languages and tools quickly.
- Knowledge of modern system development technologies and methods.
- Ability to create and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to estimate work, organise tasks, meet deadlines, and report progress accurately.
- Strong collaboration, initiative, communication, and self-development skills.
- Understanding of agile tools and techniques.
- Willingness to travel within the UK for projects.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Desirable: client-facing experience, Azure DevOps or similar, Azure or AWS cloud environments, containerisation, Kubernetes, Docker, and automation testing knowledge.
