Responsibilities
- Write scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Translate software requirements into working, high-performance software.
- Contribute to architectural and design decisions focused on efficient architecture.
- Write design documents and estimates.
- Write unit tests.
- Use AWS for application deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Help collectively oversee the integrity of the codebase.
Requirements
- At least five years of relevant coding experience with TypeScript or JavaScript and Node.js.
- Experience architecting and creating REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Experience working as a Full Stack Engineer.
- Strong experience with modern front-end TypeScript/JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as React.js.
- Experience with Git and Git workflows.
- Experience with relational databases, data modelling, and SQL queries, plus familiarity with NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and deploying workloads to cloud infrastructure.
- Preferred experience with eCommerce systems and platforms.
- BSc in Computer Science or Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
