Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end architecture for ServiceNow-based solutions aligned with strategic business objectives and technology roadmaps.
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient Now Platform architectures supporting workflows, integrations, and enterprise service management.
- Translate business requirements into ServiceNow solution designs, implementation blueprints, architecture patterns, and reference implementations.
- Review technical proposals and designs for compliance with enterprise architecture, security, regulatory, and platform standards.
- Optimize ServiceNow implementations by addressing technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and configuration issues.
- Define integration strategies between ServiceNow and external systems using APIs, integration tools, and data pipelines.
- Provide architectural governance through design reviews, change advisory processes, and architecture boards.
- Mentor engineering and configuration teams on ServiceNow architecture, configuration management, scripting, data models, and workflow design.
- Create architecture diagrams, data flows, integration specifications, and operational documentation.
- Communicate architectural decisions and tradeoffs while aligning solutions with sustainability, accessibility, and inclusive design principles.
Requirements
- 18 to 20 years of experience in cloud and platform architecture.
- Extensive ServiceNow Now Platform experience, including IT service management, IT operations management, and enterprise service management modules.
- Strong solution design and architecture experience for large-scale cloud platforms, including integrations, data models, and security architectures.
- Experience with technology roadmaps, platform consolidation, optimization, and total cost of ownership decisions.
- Hands-on exposure to ServiceNow configuration and customization, including workflows, scripting, forms, and service portals.
- Experience collaborating with distributed teams in hybrid work models and using modern delivery practices and tools.
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, or equivalent advanced ServiceNow certification.
- Familiarity with major public cloud platforms is preferred.
- Experience with platform governance, configuration management, change control, environment strategy, observability, monitoring, and performance tuning is preferred.
- Experience guiding platform upgrades, migrations, and greenfield deployments is preferred.
- Strong communication and documentation skills are preferred.
