Responsibilities
- Engineer, configure, enhance, and support ServiceNow platform capabilities across development, test, and production environments.
- Build reusable scoped applications, workflows, scripts, APIs, notifications, and platform services using ServiceNow development standards.
- Design and implement Workflow Data Fabric, Integration Hub, Workflow Studio, REST, SOAP, JDBC, SFTP, LDAP, webhook, message queue, and event-driven integrations.
- Configure MID Servers, authentication, credentials, import sets, transform maps, data sources, reconciliation, ingestion, monitoring, and integration runbooks.
- Configure conversational AI, Virtual Agent, Now Assist, AI agents, AI Agent Studio, Assistant Designer, and governed agentic workflows.
- Integrate ServiceNow workflows with robotics, autonomous systems, OT, IoT devices, sensors, connected assets, and physical-AI environments while preserving safety and auditability.
- Design and maintain roles, access controls, security attributes, encryption, authentication, credential management, audit logging, and secure integration connectivity.
- Monitor and optimize platform performance, scalability, availability, data loading, queries, scripts, flows, integrations, APIs, archiving, and technical debt.
- Support source control, repositories, CI/CD, deployment automation, testing, upgrades, patches, clones, rollback planning, production deployment, and hypercare.
- Lead technical workshops, architecture and security reviews, platform assessments, customer discussions, cross-system defect resolution, and end-to-end delivery coordination.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers, administrators, integration engineers, and support teams, and contribute to pre-sales discovery, demonstrations, estimates, proposals, and technical presentations.
Requirements
- Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is required.
- Current ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification or equivalent demonstrable application-engineering expertise is required.
- At least three Certified Implementation Specialist certificates are required; ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect is highly preferred.
- At least eight years of relevant platform engineering, enterprise integration, application development, or automation experience is required.
- At least five years of hands-on ServiceNow platform experience and at least three years designing and delivering complex ServiceNow integrations and platform-engineering solutions are required.
- Experience delivering at least two substantial end-to-end ServiceNow implementations or major platform-transformation programs is required.
- Extensive experience architecting and delivering ServiceNow solutions in complex enterprise environments is required.
- Experience leading technically complex implementations, technical discussions, teams, and supervised personnel is required.
- Prior consulting experience and the ability to work with customers, architects, cybersecurity teams, data teams, AI specialists, operations teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders are required.
- Strong JavaScript, Glide API, data modeling, security, debugging, performance analysis, integration architecture, and platform engineering skills are required.
- Experience with secure authentication, credential management, API security, role-based access, encryption, integration monitoring, conversational AI, AI agents, generative AI, or intelligent automation is required.
- Experience with OT, IoT, robotics, autonomous systems, connected assets, or similar physical-AI environments is strongly preferred.
- Preferred qualifications include relevant ServiceNow credentials or micro-certifications and experience with cloud integration services, API gateways, enterprise service buses, event-streaming platforms, iPaaS technologies, robotic process automation, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, DevOps, data engineering, or artificial intelligence.
- Advanced English and strong analytical, diagnostic, documentation, communication, structured problem-solving, mentoring, collaboration, security-awareness, and organizational skills are required.
