Base Salary
$119k - $161k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, customize, and administer ServiceNow applications and ITSM modules.
- Create Business Rules, Script Includes, and other scripts to automate processes and meet business requirements.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST, SOAP, and web services.
- Perform user and role management, system maintenance, health checks, troubleshooting, and end-user support.
- Customize interfaces, forms, workflows, reports, dashboards, and data analysis products.
- Participate in technical process reviews, postmortems, testing, deployment, and continual process improvement.
- Lead customer demos, contribute to whitepapers and design documents, manage deliverables, shape standards, and drive methodology changes.
- Mentor junior team members, lead knowledge-sharing activities, and support innovation projects and technical pilots.
- Maintain current ServiceNow and industry certifications and obtain additional certifications.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of related experience.
- Technical training, certification(s), or a degree.
- Expertise developing and customizing ServiceNow applications and ITSM modules.
- Proficiency with REST, SOAP, and web-service integrations, including creating and consuming services.
- Strong scripting skills in at least one language, preferably JavaScript.
- Understanding of Import Sets, Transform Maps, the CMDB, requirements analysis, troubleshooting, debugging, and the software testing lifecycle.
- Ability to communicate as a high-level technical authority, lead customer interactions and demos, influence stakeholders, and negotiate with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to lead process improvements, manage customer deliverables, learn new technologies, mentor staff, and work in a rapid software development environment.
- ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator certification.
- US citizenship and ability to pass a background check and obtain DHS HQ EOD and Final Suitability for Public Trust employment.
