Responsibilities
- Create sample applications, SDKs, reference code, and reference implementations demonstrating best practices.
- Produce tutorials, how-to guides, blog posts, short demos, and other developer-facing content.
- Provide technical support and triage for partners and customers integrating Autodesk Platform Services APIs.
- Reproduce integration issues, coordinate fixes with engineering, and help improve API design and developer experience.
- Maintain runbooks and onboarding flows for developers.
- Build MCP server and client examples so agents and tools can access Autodesk data safely.
- Use generative AI tools for prototypes, sample generation, and documentation drafts while ensuring output quality and security.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering or developer-facing experience in web, cloud, or native environments.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SDKs, and modern web or cloud stacks, with the ability to produce clean, tested sample code.
- Strong understanding of authentication and authorization patterns, including OAuth2 flows and service accounts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfort presenting to technical audiences.
- Developer advocacy, developer support, or partner-facing engineering experience is preferred.
- Experience with Autodesk Platform Services, Forge, or Autodesk product APIs such as Revit, ACC/BIM Automation, or Fusion is preferred.
- Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Python, .NET, Docker, cloud deployment patterns, or MCP is preferred.
Benefits
- For Canada-based roles, the stated starting base salary is $123,000 to $180,400, with potential bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and comprehensive benefits.
- The role may require in-person onboarding and/or in-person identity verification.
