Responsibilities
- Build and deploy production AI systems that automate complex decision-making for thousands of service businesses.
- Integrate state-of-the-art AI frameworks and tools into production systems.
- Architect scalable backend infrastructure to support rapid growth.
- Own critical product features end-to-end, from design through deployment.
- Work directly with customers to understand their workflows and translate their needs into technical solutions.
- Ship product features rapidly and use customer feedback to drive adoption.
Requirements
- 2–6 years of backend engineering experience, ideally at a fast-growing early-stage startup or as a founding engineer.
- Exceptional coding fundamentals and comfort with highly technical problems.
- A track record of building impressive systems or products.
- Ability to master an existing codebase and ship meaningful contributions within 48 hours.
- Strong product sense, customer empathy, and architectural judgment.
- Comfort with ambiguity, rapid context-switching, and fast execution without sacrificing quality.
- Willingness to participate in weekend sprints.
