Base Salary
$121k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-throughput streaming and batch data processing services.
- Develop and operate stream-based applications for real-time data transformation and validation.
- Own and evolve event schemas and data contracts, including governance practices.
- Ensure scalability and performance of streaming and ingestion pipelines.
- Contribute to deployment automation and operational tooling.
- Participate in designing cloud-native data infrastructure for real-time workloads.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production software systems in a data-intensive environment.
- Strong experience with Java (and/or Scala) and Python in backend applications.
- Experience designing and operating streaming systems using Kafka or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and schema evolution.
- Experience building real-time data pipelines at scale.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts.
