Base Salary
$180k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
- Own and improve build, test, and deployment pipelines end-to-end.
- Write production backend services and contribute to core server-side systems.
- Build reusable deployment, job, consumer, and worker archetypes.
- Improve local development workflows, build times, infrastructure reliability, and internal developer tooling.
- Harden infrastructure through secrets management, IAM policies, network isolation, and audit logging in collaboration with security and compliance teams.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional experience in backend engineering, infrastructure engineering, or a hybrid of both.
- Strong proficiency in at least one strongly typed or compiled language such as Go, Rust, Java, Python, or TypeScript.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud services.
- Familiarity with containerized environments and Docker.
- Hands-on Terraform or equivalent infrastructure-as-code experience is a bonus.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar is a bonus.
- Kubernetes experience is a bonus.
- TypeScript/Node.js experience is a bonus.
- Experience in regulated environments such as HIPAA or SOC 2 is a strong plus.
